The draft Vilas Park Master Plan is available for your information and review. There will be several opportunities for comment, as described below. These include the Parks Division’s community input meeting on November 16 and an opportunity for neighbors to share ideas with the Vilas Neighborhood Association Council on November 18. We hope you will be able to participate in these events and share your reaction to the draft plan and thoughts about the future of the Park.

PUBLIC MEETING AND COMMENT PERIOD
The Parks Division and its consultants will hold a community input meeting via Zoom at 6:00 pm on Monday, November 16. Following the meeting on the 16th, there will be a two week period for written comments. There had been talk of a second online survey, but now that is not going to happen. So this is your chance to have input directly to the Parks Division and their consultants.

NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION MEETING AND POSITION ON THE PLAN
In addition to the above, the Vilas Neighborhood Association will be soliciting input from neighbors as a basis for developing a VNA position on the plan. You are invited to discuss your ideas at the VNA’s upcoming annual meeting and will also have an opportunity to share your thoughts in writing.
· The VNA annual meeting is scheduled from 7 -9 pm on Wednesday, November 18. The Park discussion will begin around 8 pm, following the business portion of the meeting. Because time is limited, we will go directly to your input and will not be reviewing the content of the proposed Master Plan.
